Where standard solutions fall short, we develop the right jig or fixture. And our jig and fixture manufacturing can take many forms: a welding jig, a clamping or gripping system, a rotary table, a mounting bracket, a linear motion system or a prototype for a new manufacturing process.

For us, however, jig and fixture engineering does not begin with the component, but with the task behind it. We look at what needs to run more smoothly in your production, how existing machines interact, and what happens before and after the jig or fixture. From this, we develop a solution that works technically and fits into your workflow.

Development & planning

First understand. Then design.

It usually starts not with a finished drawing, but with a task. A component needs to be clamped securely. A process requires greater precision. There is no proper handover between two machines. A component needs to be rotated, moved or gripped. Or an existing process needs to be made simpler and more cost-effective.

This is exactly where we come in. We develop initial concepts, examine different approaches and directly incorporate related processes. The result is not a device in isolation, but a solution for the entire production process.

Design & FEM-Analysis

Not just well thought through. Carefully calculated too.

Once the concept is in place, we turn our attention to the details. We design the fixture, calculate the forces involved and, where necessary, use FEM analyses to check how components and structures behave under load. This allows us to identify critical areas at an early stage and optimise them in a targeted manner. The aim here is not to build the most complicated design possible. On the contrary: it should be precise, robust, low-maintenance and function smoothly in day-to-day use.

Process integration

We also look at the bigger picture.

Eine Vorrichtung arbeitet selten allein. Deshalb betrachten wir auch die Maschinen, Arbeitsschritte und Schnittstellen drumherum. Wie kommt das Bauteil an? Wie wird es weitergegeben? Welche Bewegungen sind notwendig? Welche Medien werden benötigt? Wo entstehen unnötige Handgriffe oder Wartezeiten? Gerade in bestehenden Produktionsumgebungen liegt hier oft der entscheidende Hebel. Manchmal fehlt keine neue Maschine. Sondern genau das richtige Stück dazwischen.

Prototype development & manufacturing

We turn the design into a working solution.

Once development is complete, we build the fixture ourselves, assemble it and commission it. For new tasks, a prototype can be the right first step. This quickly reveals how the solution performs under real-world conditions and where further optimisation is possible. Whether it’s a one-off, a piece of equipment, a small batch or a fixture for mass production: we support the solution every step of the way until it operates reliably in day-to-day use.

Turnkey

Developed. Built. Installed.

On request, we do more than just deliver the finished fixture. We integrate it directly into your existing production line on-site, coordinate interfaces and support the commissioning process right through to the start of series production. This means that development, design, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning are all handled by a single provider. For us, ‘turnkey’ means: the solution is complete when it works for you.

Safety & documentation

Safety is an integral part of the design process.

We take machine safety into account right from the start. Depending on the project, we draw up the necessary risk assessment, technical documentation and declaration of incorporation. After all, a good piece of equipment must not only operate with precision; it must also fit safely and seamlessly into the existing production line.
